Thanks to a TD Park People Grant and a Neighbourhood Small Grant, Free the Fern is excited to announce that we will be organizing a South Van Strawberry Social on Sunday, June 5, 1-4pm.
At the event there will be:
- 200 free servings of strawberries (with shortcake and whipped cream)
- live music (including a 20s-40s jazz trio)
- local craft vendors
- an eco art workshop
- tours of our new Douglas Fir Teaching Garden
But, we need volunteers like YOU to make this event a real success.
