In preparation for our Community Planting Event on October 24 we have:
- received a 5 cubic yard truck of soil, funded by Kinross Creek Housing Co-op Landscape Committee
- been offered $50 from the Independent Grocery to fund the purchase of drinks and snacks
- received a $300 Neighbourhood Small Grant to fund sea soil and pizza
- been offered 3 $25 gift cards from Gardenworks to be used as draw prizes
- had 250 native plants delivered from Nat’s Nursery and sorted today
- labelled all our planting sites
- painted new bird paintings to be sold at our event as part of our Art for Plant Fundraiser
