Art for Plants Fundraiser

October 15 Update: Thanks to the support of the BCIT Ecological Restoration Masters Program students, who purchased many of our art in an on-campus event today, we have successfully fundraised $1,103!

May 29 Update: We have successfully fundraised $830 dollars so far! This will go to support fall native planting adjacent to Kinrosss Creek Co-op, Cartier Place, and Alexander Laidlaw Co-op along the Red Alder Trail (Champlain Heights Trail system) Thank you to everyone who has supported our fundraiser so far!

In March 2021 Free the Fern launched an Art for Plants Fundraiser.

Free the Fern member, Christine Nombrado (Kiki), has offered to hand paint canvases with pictures of local birds and native plants.

We are selling the 5×7 art for $15 each or 3 for $40.

100% of the profits will go to fund native planting along the Champlain Heights Trail this fall.

Those interested in purchasing can contact us at freethefern@gmail.com to inquire about current availability.
