Creative Minds Early Childhood Education

On Oct 31, 2022, Free the Fern President, Grace Nombrado, led a workshop for a group of student teachers from Creative Minds Early Childhood Education. The student teachers learned about ivy removal, native plants, and weaving. They plan to bring back their knowledge to teach preschool-aged children about nature.

Grace teaches a student how to remove ivy from a tree (cut it at chest height and remove the ivy from below, but leave all the ivy above to die and fall off the tree naturally).
