What a lovely morning, spent connecting to nature through art!
Certified nature therapist, Aruna NB Khan @moon.bloom.studio , led an Autumn Collage Workshop with us.
This was the second in our 3-part Nature Series for Seniors (55+)
It was so lovely to see so many seniors who attended our first workshop return. It felt like a little community was forming!
The workshop included an outdoor nature immersion experience, followed by and a guided botanical stitching activity.
Together, we reflected on what Autumn means to us and how it connects with the stage in our lives as seniors. Everyone came away with a beautiful, personalized moonlight moth.
We look forward to welcoming everyone back in November for the last workshop in our Nature Series for Seniors – Card Making with Invasive Plants (go to our event page to register).
Thank you to the seniors who attended: Barbara, Connie, Deb, Genevieve, Jenna, Kathleen, Lily, Marge, Pat, Robin, and Sylvia.
We are grateful to Park People & Habitat Conservation Trust Foundation for helping to fund this workshop.

Really enjoyed it! It was nice to see familiar faces, make new friends and learn so much. Grounding was great. The art was beautiful and mindful.
