What a wonderful Annual General Meeting we had today!
We gathered together at the Kinross Creek common room to:
🌿learn about accessible gardening from Fabiola Keanne & Bryden Veinot from Disabled Independent Gardeners Association (DIGA)
🌿reflect on some highlights of the year
🌿approve a 5 year strategic plan (drafted over the past 6 months) & our budget
🌿welcome 3 new board directors and 2 directors returning for a second term
🌿enjoy a delicious spread of food made by our Indigenous Elder-in-Residence, Marge Wylie, and her friend, Corinne Stadel
We were also honoured to have several guests from Copley Community Orchard at our AGM (check them out!)
