Yesterday, due to poor air quality from forest fires in the interior, we had to make the tough decision to postpone our Indigenous Plant Walk with Lori Snyder.
Originally scheduled for Saturday, Aug 14, we have now rescheduled it for Saturday, September 11, 2021. It will be held from 10-11:30 am at Champlain Heights Park (3351 Maquinna Drive). We will be meeting at the South East Corner of the Tennis Courts.
Lori Snyder, a Metis herbalist and educator, will take us for a walk through Champlain Heights Park sharing with us her knowledge of native and naturalized plants of the area.
